British University Fines Student, Orders Him To Take Down Dating Website

University College, London, has advised a graduating student to take down his immensely popular site Fitfinder, telling him it was a distraction and ordering him to pay a fine for “bringing the college into disrepute.” The site was advertised as a place where bored students could find romantic interests and flirt a little; founded a month ago, it spread quickly to other campuses in the country. Now, starved of affection, it’s a shadow of its former self.
