Rare Book Sellers Force Change in ABEbooks Procedure
The New York Times reports that almost 600 rare book sellers protested against ABEbooks.com, a company owned by Amazon, which had decided to bar vendors in several countries over a payment processing issue, but declined to provide more information about the action. The sellers carried out a world-wide objection to the ABEbooks.com action. Finally, the company rescinded its decision. More here.
