Feds, Broadcasters, Come to Agreement Regarding Payola

Four broadcasters, Clear Channel Communications, CBS Radio, Entercom Communications, and Citadel Broadcasting, are reported to have agreed to pay the federal government a sizable chunk of change and to provide airtime for small record labels to showcase their artists in order to settle accusations of payola–“pay for play”.
