Singer Files in “Soundalike” Case

Grammy winner Tom Waits is suing a German ad agency and a unit of GM, charging that they have used a “soundalike” in a series of car ads and have violated his rights of personality.  Waits has consistently refused to do ads for General Motors as well as other companies.
