European Entertainment Industry Not Protecting Itself from Illegal Copying, New Report Says
A newly released report says that more than fifty percent of the new games and other materials released by the European entertainment industry do not have adequate, or indeed in some cases any copyright protection, at all. The report, prepared by Digital Play, says that as a result, consumers simply infringe copyrights as a matter of course. Legal action is costly and ineffective because most individuals do not copy large amounts of protected material.
