Grokster, RIAA Settle; Grokster Agrees to Shut Down

The Hollywood Reporter and other outlets are now reporting that Grokster has agreed to shut down its service, ending a long running battle with the RIAA. The article notes that the settlement includes a permanent injunction against Grokster’s distribution of its “client application” and the shut down of its operation.
