South African Pirate Radio Station Shut Down

A pirate radio station in South Africa has finally gone off the air after the South African agency charged with regulating media determined that it had no license to broadcast, Reuters reports. Radio Klub 100 was known was its racist content, but  the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA), the regulatory agency involved, said the shutdown had to do with licensing, not with its opinions.
