Pentagon Concludes Pro-US Stories OK, Legal

According to a story in yesterday’s Los Angeles Times, the Pentagon’s inspector general has concluded that paying journalists to write pro-US stories is not illegal, but it might be ill-advised, and it might on occasion make it difficult to tell the difference between “news and propaganda”, according to Pentagon officials.
