Madonna’s Production Company Files Lawsuit Alleging Another Company Stole Idea for Film

Madonna’s production company, Maverick Films, is suing Inferno Distribution over a project called “The Stanford Prison Experiment”. Maverick says Inferno unfairly obtained information about the project and is now engaged in a competing, similar, project. Maverick is suing “misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, breach of contract and fraud” and is seeking an injunction and substantial damages. Read more here and here.
