Jordan’s Parliament Passes Draft Law That Would Allow Prison For Journalists

Jordan’s Parliament has passed a draft law that would allow reporters to be sentenced to prison for defaming religions protected under the country’s constitution.The bill, which is opposed by the Jordanian Press Association, must still be approved by the Jordanian Senate.
