Newspapers Challenge Order Concealing Identity of Sex Offender

Some members of the British media are challenging a judicial order that a man who pled guilty to committing offenses against minors may have his identity concealed because revealing it would put his children at risk of harassment. Normally, concealing a sex offender’s identity is possible if revealing it would put the victims at risk of such harassment, but in this case the minors involved are not the victims.
