U.S. Denies Writer Permission To Enter Country

U. S. authorities have refused to allow Sebastian Horsley, author of “Dandy in the Underworld,” permission to enter the country, which seems to have derailed his plans to promote his book in person here. According to the New York Times, a spokesperson for the United States Customs and Border Protection Service said that “travelers who have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude (which includes controlled-substance violations) or admit to previously having a drug addiction are not admissible” to the United States.
