BBC Makes On-Air Error In Announcing Verdict
The BBC has made yet another mistake in announcing that a jury had reached a decision in an important murder case, its third error in a week. The jury had in fact not yet announced a verdict in the trial of the men accused of murdering constable Nisah Patel-Nasri. Earlier this week the network had made an error in announcing the location of a factory that makes dolls in the likeness of Adolf Hitler, and last week it misidentified a photograph purporting to be of Myanmar cyclone victims.
