New York Civil Liberties Union Files Lawsuit On Behalf of Reporter Leonardo Blair
The AP reports that the New York Civil Liberties Union has filed a lawsuit challenging the NYPD’s “stop and frisk” policy on the grounds that it unconstitutionally targets racial minorities. Here’s a link to the NYCLU press release, explaining that the lawsuit is on behalf of reporter Leonardo Blair, who was stopped and arrested last November.
