Danish Appellate Court Upholds Lower Court Ruling: No Liability For Newspaper That Published Prophet Muhammed Cartoons
A Danish appeals court has upheld a lower court ruling that the Danish newspaper which published those controversial “Prophet Muhammed” cartoons was exercising a right of free speech. The cartoons caused outrage both in Denmark and abroad. The plaintiffs in the case have not decided whether to appeal to the highest court in Denmark.
