ASA Raps Lexus Car Ad, Calling It Misleading

The Advertising Standards Authority has banned a Lexus ad after viewers complained about its claims concerning the environment. The ASA indicated that the claims would mislead viewers into thinking that the car “caused little or no harm to the environment.” After attempting to clarify its copy, Lexus amended it.
