Kanye West Has Run-In With Photographer At English Nightclub

Kanye West had harsh words for the paparazzi after a photographer complained to police that the rapper had assaulted him at a Newcastle night club. Mr. West explained to law enforcement that he was trying to shield himself from the lens. The photographer, Terry Blackburn, said that Mr. West pushed the camera into his (Mr. Blackburn’s) face. No charges have been filed. Mr. West says “the paps are above the law and the people who they shoot are below it.” He also told BBC 1Xtra, “I am not a celebrity…I am a normal person that’s just famous.”

Mr. West was also involved in an incident with a photographer in September at LAX. No charges were filed.
