Russell Brand’s Interview With the Observer: We Left Out “More Personal Stuff”
In an interview with the magazine The Observer, Russell Brand says that the producer of his show eliminated the “more personal stuff” in the phone calls that he and co-host Jonathan Ross made to actor Andrew Sachs before the segment was broadcast on BBC Radio. In addition, Mr. Brand says he believed that Mr. Sachs agreed to the broadcast of the material. Mr. Brand has since resigned from the BBC and is pursuing a movie career. The BBC has suspended Mr. Ross for three months. Meanwhile, Channel Five is planning a documentary on the Brand/Ross affair. Read the Brand interview here.
