Landlord Sues Former Tenant Over Tweet

Landlord Horizon Group Management is suing former tenant Amanda Bonnen over her tweet, “Who said sleeping in a moldy apartment was bad for you? Horizon really thinks it’s okay.” The company says Ms. Bonnen’s tweet defamed it, injuring its reputation, and wants $50,000. But at the time, only twenty people follwed Ms. Bonnen’s tweets.
