Dominick Dunne Dies
Author Dominick Dunne has died. He was 83. Mr. Dunne began his career in films, producing such movies as Panic in Needle Park, The Boys in the Band, and Play It As It Lays, the last based on a work by his sister-in-law, Joan Didion. A second career emerged when he began writing law-related fiction based on true crime, with works such as Another Country Not My Own, A Season in Purgatory, and The Two Mrs. Grenvilles. He also wrote regularly for Vanity Fair. Mr. Dunne is survived by two sons and a granddaughter. Read more here and here.
