Court Dismisses Rather Lawsuit Against CBS

An appellate court has dismissed former CBS anchor Dan Rather’s lawsuit against the network, citing Mr. Rather’s failure to demonstrate “a single opportunity with specified terms that was actually available to him and which he declined to accept because of CBS’ actions.” Mr. Rather originally filed the lawsuit in 2007.
