Suspect Confesses To Killings of Russian Human Rights Attorney, Journalist

The AP reports that one man has confessed to the murders of human rights attorney Stanislav Markelov and journalist Anastasia Baburova. Journalist Anna Politkovskaya, who was assassinated in 2006, was one of Mr. Markelov’s clients. Nikita Tikhonov, another journalist, is reported to have confessed to the killings after his arrest.
