Woman Drives Neighbors, Well, Bananas

And this gem from Brighton and Hove. A local woman made her neighbors crazy (for three years) by playing the theme song from The Banana Splits (remember, “Cha La La, La la la la”) cranked up all the way (she also played “House of the Rising Sun” and other favorites), despite numerous warnings from the noise police. Finally, the neighbors had had enough, and so had the City Council. It fined Amanda Millard 250 pounds for violating the local noise ordinance. And so it goes….
