Lawyers’ Group Tells Straw It Will Go To Court Over Decision To Cap Fees

Lawyers For Media Standards, a lobbying group, has told Jack Straw it will go to court if he does not rescind his decision to cap lawyers’ fees at 10 percent in successful libel cases. The group says he made the decision too quickly and without adequate consultation.
