Personal Manager Sues Joan Rivers For Defamation

William Sammeth, former manager to Joan Rivers, is suing her over statements in her new book Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work, which he says defame him by saying he “disappeared” rather than stating that she fired him. He also claims Ms. Rivers did not pay him some commissions he is owed. Ms. Rivers denies that allegation. Read more here in a BBC article.
