Turkish Telecommunications Board Limits Access To Google Services

The Hurriyet Daily News and Economic Review reports that the Turkish Telecommunications Presidency (TIB), which regulates communications in the country, has now cut access to some of Google’s services, including translation and Google docs. The agency cites “legal reasons.” In 2008, the TIB blocked access to YouTube, citing insult to the founder of Turkey, Kemal Ataturk.
