Creative Commons Problems in Lithuania
Mindaugas Kiskis has published Creative Commons Problems in Lithuania as part of the Proceedings of the International Conference on Social Technologies, 2010. Here is the abstract.
The article investigates problems facing current copyright and related rights regime, as well as Creative Commons licensing as an alternative contractual copyright and related rights arrangement. General features of Creative Commons licensing and problems for its adaptation to the Lithuanian jurisdiction are identified and studied. Conclusions are drawn that comprehensive reform of the current copyright and related rights regime is needed in order to fully accommodate Creative Commons and other alternative arrangements in Lithuanian and European law.
