From the New York Times, a story about Righthaven, a company that seeks out copyrighted material (normally from newspapers), and then sues the infringers without warning. Its targets are usually unwary folks who think they are complying with the fair use provisions of the Copyright Act. But some judges apparently are not impressed. See here.
