Beverly Hills PD Closes Ronnie Chasen Murder Investigation

The Beverly Hills Police Department has officially closed its investigation in the murder of publicist Ronnie Chasen, who was shot as she drove home November 16, 2010. The investigation has turned up more than 150,000 pieces of evidence and consumed more than 10,000 person hours. Officers believe a suspect named Harold Martin Smith, whom they moved in to arrest on December 1, and who shot himself to death that day, is the only person involved in Ms. Chasen’s death.  More here from the Hollywood Reporter.
