Russian Court Confirms Pussy Riot Sentences
Two members of the group Pussy Riot have lost an appeal of their prison sentences to the Moscow City Court. Their lawyer says they will appeal to the Russian Supreme Court. Maria Alekhina, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, and Yekaterina Samutsevich protested the administration of Vladimir Putin last year by performing in a church, and were convicted of hooliganism.
