The Scientist reports here on a developing story involving two publishers: Science Reuters and Insight Knowledge. According to The Scientist, journals published by these publishers may have made available papers originally published in others journals, including PLOS, apparently without the knowledge of the papers’ original authors.   PLOS allows reuse of papers published on its site, with proper attribution.

A quick search of Science Reuters’ website indicates that the links to most PDFs have been disabled, leaving only citation information and some title and author information.
