Storm Chasing Scientists Die In Tornado Outbreak

Three storm chasers, including a father and son, are among the victims of the latest spate of Oklahoma tornadoes. Tim and Paul Samaras and Carl Young had appeared on the Discovery Channel’s program Storm Chasers, to discuss their work. The elder Mr. Samaras was the founder of the TWISTEX project, which collects information in the field about tornadoes.
