Inter-American Press Association Says Numerous Nations In Western Hemisphere Violate Press Freedoms

The Inter-American Press Association (IAPA) is speaking out against a number of limitations or restrictions of press freedoms in the Western Hemisphere, including reporter killings, government restrictions on press rights in various countries such as Ecuador and Venezuela, and the U.S. Justice Department’s 2012 seizure of some Associated Press records.
