An Interesting Hacking Case From the Netherlands

Ellen Marja Wesselingh, The Hague University; Leiden University Law School, has published Is a Router an Automated Work in the Sense of the Law or Not? Here is the abstract. 

An unofficial translation of some interesting case law from The Netherlands. The Court of First Instance and the Court of Appeal ruled the suspect could not be judged for “hacking” because a (Wifi) router could not be counted as an automated work in the sense of the law.
