South African Judge Rules That Part of Pistorius Trial May Be Broadcast Live

Mr. Justice Dustin Mlambo has ruled that part of the murder trial of Oscar Pistorius may be televised live, in order to address the public’s questions about celebrity justice. The parts of the trial that may be televised live include audio. The defendant’s testimony and that of his witnesses are exempt. Other poritions of the trial may be filmed and later telecast.
