Avid Life Media CEO Resigns

The CEO of Avid Life Media is stepping down, according to CNN Money. Avid Life is the parent company of Ashley Madison, the website whose tag line is “Life is short. Have an affair.” Ashley Madison suffered a massive hack earlier this month which resulted in the release of confidential data to now searchable sites.

Experts say that at least some of the accounts were falsified and some individuals named as having had accounts on the sites actually have no link with Ashley Madison. More here on the possible hackers from ABC News.
