French Data Protection Authority Orders Google To Comply With Delisting Orders On All Domains
France’s data protection authority (CNIL) has told Google to comply with delisting requirements on all of its domain names in order to comply with the European Court of Justice ruling issued in 2014 (the Gonzalez v. Google ruling, issued May 13, 2014). CNIL (Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertes) denies that its decision is an attempt to impose French law extraterritorially.
