Stephen Glass Makes Repayment To Harper’s For

Stephen Glass, a former  reporter for The New Republic who fabricated numerous stories while he worked there, has repaid Harper’s for payment he received for falsifying an article for it as well. Mr. Glass says he also plans to repay other media outlets for payments he received for writing he fabricated. More here from the New York Times. Mr. Glass has since graduated from law school, but not been admitted to any bar. He has also written an interesting novel, The Fabulist (Simon & Schuster). He currently works for a California law firm. The events surrounding his time at The New Republic were made into a film, Shattered Glass, staring Hayden Christensen and Peter Sarsgaard.
