A Canadian Case On Metatag Liability

Emir Crowne, University of Windsor Faculty of Law, and Adrian Werkowski, Faculty of Windsor, have published First Comprehensive Review of Metatag Liability by a Canadian Court at 10 Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice 588 (2015). Here is the abstract.

In Red Label Vacations Inc v 411 Travel Buys Limited, 2015 FC 19 the Federal Court of Canada recently issued the first comprehensive review of metatag liability by a Canadian Court, finding the tags in question did not infringe copyright or trade mark law.
